Professional Storytelling: Developing Your Schtick

  • Ninth Street Independent Film Center 145 9th Street #105 San Francisco, CA, 94103 United States (map)

Program description

Pitching is hard! Before wowing an executive producer with your next film project, it's important to work on your own pithy personal narrative. What makes your filmmaker story compelling and memorable? How can you strike the balance between authentic, engaging, and maybe even funny, without coming off as overly aggressive, awkward or corny?

Join Professional Storytelling: Developing Your Schtick to hone your story in the company of local peers and guest moderators. With a little feedback and practice, our personal stories sound better! Especially after our happy hour refreshments. This session is meant to be professional and fun.

All attendees and staff will be required to show proof of vaccination, masks are also required for indoor sessions. Please click here to see our full BAMMS 2022 COVID protocol.

Register for our free FRIDAY PASS to get access to this and all other BAMMS sessions on Friday, June 3
